Jennifer Eubank--Supervised by Sarah Dildy, LPC

Hello! I am a counseling intern at Lotus Counseling for the spring and summer of 2023. I am currently pursuing my master’s degree in Counseling at the University of North Texas, where I also received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. I have worked with children experiencing grief, emotional dysregulation, anxiety, and interpersonal conflicts. I have also worked with adults experiencing anxiety, insecurity, overwhelm, feeling out of control, and past relationship abuse. I am excited to work with clients of all ages and backgrounds.

When working with clients, I use a Person-Centered approach. A key component of that theory is the emphasis on having a nonjudgmental relationship with you. I believe that when you feel completely accepted as you are, you will then feel safe to grow and heal at your own pace. I aspire to help you develop greater self-acceptance and self-compassion so that you are able to realize and work towards your best self.

You know yourself better than anyone else. I believe that you know when you are ready to work on certain things and trust your ability to grow, heal, and lead the way. My job is to follow your lead and support you however you need. Working with me, I will utilize my genuineness to help you become your most authentic, happy self. I know how hard and scary it can be to seek counseling, and I want to congratulate you on taking the first step.

I have immediate openings for play therapy (children ages 3-10) and activity therapy (preadolescents ages 11-13). I also have availability to work with adults of any age. I am under the supervision of Sarah Dildy, MS, LPC, NCC. I look forward to working with you!
