Amelia Wilson - Supervised by Nicki Allen, LPC

Hi! I’m Amelia (she/her), and I’m a counseling intern at Lotus Counseling. I have a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Texas A&M University, and I am currently working toward my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of North Texas.

I feel honored to support clients through life’s challenges, and I aim to create a space where you feel seen, supported, and cared for. My style is warm, genuine, and collaborative. I use Adlerian and Person-Centered counseling approaches, believing strongly in each person’s capacity for growth, resilience, and belonging.
I work primarily with adolescents and adults navigating:

  • • Anxiety and depression
  • • Stress and life transitions
  • • Body image concerns
  • • Family dynamics
  • • Relationship and attachment struggles
  • • Self-esteem and identity questions
  • • Trauma histories

As the daughter of immigrant parents and someone with a diverse cultural background, I understand how culture, expectations, and family experiences shape how we cope, connect with others, and view ourselves. This shapes my commitment to offering multicultural, trauma-informed, and compassionate care that respects each person’s story.

When we work together, you can expect understanding, encouragement, curiosity, and a safe place to talk about anything you’re facing, without judgment or pressure. My goal is to help you reconnect with your strengths, build helpful coping skills, and move toward a life that feels more grounded, empowered, and meaningful.

I am truly grateful to walk alongside you on your healing journey and look forward to meeting you, just as you are.
