We all hit moments in our lives when we need a little extra support, a new perspective, a listening ear, or, most importantly, a chance to really hear ourselves. As someone who's been a client myself, I truly value the opportunity to help people navigate their mental health. Just as there is a need to address internal challenges like brain chemistry, addiction, chronic health issues, self-talk, or thought patterns, there is also often a need to process external challenges like inequity, discrimination, trauma, or abuse.
I graduated with a master's degree in counseling from the University of North Texas in 2024 and am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas (LPC #97780). My clinical experience ranges from residential addiction treatment to partial hospitalization mental health groups to private practice, and I specialize in PTSD and CPTSD, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, substance use disorder, and life stage transitions. I operate from a client-centered lens, meaning I believe every person has the ability to grow in whatever direction is right for them given the right conditions. I will use techniques from EMDR, CBT, ACT, and IFS as appropriate to support you with whatever you are facing, but my first priority is to help you tap into your own unique strengths and wisdom.
My approach has a strong foundation of connection and acceptance: I celebrate diversity in all its forms and love working with queer, kink, nerd, and neurodiverse populations. If you resonated with anything you read here, I'd love to hear from you and set up a 15-minute call to find out whether we could be a good fit!
