Breanna Hodges - Supervised by Lynn Ball, LPC

Hi! My name is Breanna (They/she) and I am a counseling intern here at Lotus Counseling. I have bachelor’s degrees of psychology, as well as addiction studies, from the University of North Texas, where I am currently pursuing my Master's of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

Navigating the world today can be especially difficult and isolating at times, everyone deserves a safe space where you can show up as yourself and be met with support and connection through any experience. This is how I show up in the counseling room. I primarily approach counseling from a relational-cultural therapy (RCT) lens, which puts the counseling relationship at the center of healing in hopes to develop meaningful relational patterns and experiences outside of counseling. I currently work with adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, life-changes, relational/attachment struggles, identity concerns, experiences with trauma and more.

As someone who is queer and disabled, I am proud to show up for my clients regardless of the identities they hold, whether they are similar or different from my own. I will always provide counseling that is LGBTQ+, disability, neurodivergent, and multi-cultural affirming. My goal is to help you connect to the strengths within yourself as well as the community around you, build coping skills, and move towards connection instead of isolation in a way that feels meaningful and empowering to you.

I feel truly honored for the opportunity to be your counselor and walk alongside you on your healing journey in whatever way feels most authentic to you.
