Davis Hanna, M.S. -- Supervised by Nicole Holmes, PhD, LP

Hi! I'm Davis (they/them) and I am a practicum therapist at Lotus. I obtained my bachelor’s degree in psychology from Texas A&M and my Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Texas Woman's University, where I am currently working on my doctorate degree.

Taking steps to focus on yourself and explore beneath the surface can be daunting. We aren’t meant to navigate life alone, and you deserve someone who can support you through inevitable ebbs and flows, as well as the more painful things you would rather keep hidden. I am proud to provide LGBTQIA+ affirming, trauma informed, neurodivergent affirming, sex positive, culturally responsive, and person-centered care to a diverse client base over the last 4 years. I can compassionately uncover patterns that keep you stuck in thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that no longer serve you. As we move through the process of healing, we can replace them with tools that give you access to greater authenticity and fulfillment.

In sessions with me you can expect to receive genuine validation, empowerment, humor, coping skills, and acceptance. I provide a safe space to explore your life experiences without judgement and to imagine new ways of engaging with ourselves and the world. You deserve meaningful connection. Externalizing shame and connecting you to your self-worth and most authentic self is what I do best. Come, show up as you are, kick off your shoes (get comfy), take what has been causing distress off your shoulders and let’s look at it together. I can’t wait to meet you where you are and work together to create room for who you are becoming. Remember, therapy is worth it, because you and your well-being are deserving of care.
