Jordan Smith -- Supervised by Lynn Ball, LPC

Hi! I’m Jordan (she/her), and I am a student intern therapist under the supervision of Lynn Ball, MS, LPC. I received my B.A. in Psychology in 2022, and I am currently pursuing a M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of North Texas. I work with adult clients experiencing mental health struggles and general concerns that they would like to work through in the therapeutic environment.

I utilize Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy and tools from various modalities to assist individuals in enhancing their well-being through the lens of compassion, openness, and curiosity. I aim to assist individuals in recognizing automatic patterns of functioning that perpetuate distress, and building safety within themselves to move towards their internal experiences in the present moment. No matter what your presenting concern is, I aim to tailor my approach to your specific needs and promote a supportive environment to help you break out of cycles of distress, build self-compassion, and experience the growth that you desire.
