I’m a Licensed Psychologist with a PhD in Counseling Psychology from Texas Woman’s University. I’m passionate about helping adults on a path to healing and growth. I use my natural warmth to collaborate with clients and empower them to feel valuable and resilient. I specialize in working with trauma recovery, depression, anxiety, grief/loss, relationship issues, and life stressors.
I have advanced training in therapy techniques for trauma recovery, including both Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR.) Since 2006, I have been counseling clients with multiple issues, including all ages of adults.
I work from an integrative therapeutic approach that incorporates collaboration, the therapeutic relationship, and sensitivity to the unique issues that each client brings to therapy. My work focuses on therapies that are emotion focused, cognitive behavioral,trauma-informed, and includes EMDR, CPT, and IFS/parts informed work. I approach therapy from a warm, open, and nonjudgmental space to meet you where you are in your healing journey. I value understanding, growth, and compassion, and I tailor my services to what would work best for you.
