Hi, I’m Shelby Wilkins, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas. I received my Master’s of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from Texas Woman’s University. I'm a queer and late-diagnosed neurodivergent counselor that works with adults and older adolescents.
My specialties include ADHD, autism, AuDHD, LGBTQIA+, and interpersonal traumas like domestic violence and sexual assault. I also support folks navigating anxiety, depression, stress, boundaries, self-criticism, and relationship challenges. If you would like to increase your self-compassion/self-worth, develop strategies to accommodate yourself and improve executive functioning, decrease guilt and shame, and increase your ability to self-soothe and cope with life stressors, then I might be the counselor for you!
I am deeply passionate about providing warm, LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent-affirming, trauma-informed, and multiculturally competent care to connect with a diverse range of clients. My goals are to build a strong therapeutic relationship with each person I work with and create a space that fosters safety, trust, authenticity, empowerment, and healing.
My therapeutic style is relational, eclectic, and tailored to your unique needs and personal experiences. An eclectic style means that I incorporate a range of therapeutic techniques, including Relational-Cultural Therapy (RCT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Multicultural Feminist, Person-Centered, and expressive arts. This flexibility allows me to support your unique needs and experiences with practical tools and evidence-based interventions that can assist in fostering the change you are seeking in your life. I believe that you know you best and I view myself as someone supporting you on your journey to living your most authentic and fulfilling life. I want to work together to make collaborative choices that move you closer to your personal goals and values.

- $125 per 60 minute session
